Small male Terrier x, 3 years, 7.2 kgs

Barney loves just being with you, he is very happy to be around people, he will just potter around you. He loves to think of himself as a lap dog and he is, but is also very independent… he loves to sit next you with his head on your leg whilst you are watching TV… and he also enjoys a bit of a sleep in. Not an early riser.

Barney LOVES going for his daily walk, happy to see other dogs, non plussed about saying hello though he has been very well socialised with dogs of all sizes… But he is more interested in the smells. Barney would love being the only dog if you were around all the time. He absolutely loves going for a walk and will happily strut next to you. He is very good on the lead.

Barney tolerates other dogs and but it more than happy to do his own thing. He will need a firm owner who will be his leader. Not suited to young children, would prefer teenagers and adults.

He is a good boy at bath time, he laps up all the attention you can give him.

Barney loves his soft toys and he will roll a ball around the backyard.

Barney also has a little of a foot fetish.

His training is coming along well and he can sit on command and the end of his active day he will happily settle in for the night on your lap.

Barney has had a tough time and he needs firm loving hands to guide him on his way and tolerate his little quirks in return for the huge pleasure he will give them. He would love to be in a quiet home with his people around a lot.
