Medium male Border Collie x Spaniel, 18 mths to 2 years

Egon (Maxie) the Wonder Dog can run fast and jump high! He is a little (9kg) pocket rocket who really does wear his heart on his sleeve. Highly intelligent, lively, playful, and oh so friendly. He loves all people and looks at you as if to say "what do you want me to do now?" This little boy has a high drive and adores his balls and toys - he would make a brilliant flyball dog. Egon (Maxie) has the most incredible focus, whatever you are holding in your hand - whether it be food or a toy or a leaf - is the most interesting thing in the world to him. Egon (Maxie) is 18mths – 2yrs old, housetrained, great with other dogs, fine with older children, and has excellent recall.

Egon (Maxie) loves to run. He is like an acrobat when he chases his ball - he regularly performs flips in the air to catch his most prized possession (his ball) - he even attempted a backward somersault one day, which ended with him flat on the ground, but this doesn't stop him, he just gets back up and does it all again. Egon (Maxie) loves other dogs that like to run and play. He is especially good with bigger dogs. He is such a well-balanced, happy boy.

Egon (Maxie) really is a sensitive boy. He wants so much to please you, and gets quite upset if he thinks he's done something wrong. He responds so well to praise. Egon (Maxie) loves human company, and likes to sit on your lap and bury his head. And being so people focused, Egon (Maxie) will plonk himself down at your feet wherever you may be. Egon (Maxie) would like a home where he can learn lots of new things, and he would love a doggy playmate.
