Breed: Medium Female Labrador x
Rosie is particular. She isn't going to fawn over you when she meets you. She loves her family and the people she knows but Is offhand with those she doesn't. She won't sell her affection for a pat or two.
Rosie is more than happy to socialise and hang out with you at your local cafe. She has beautiful manners and will never beg for a share of your food. Rosie loves travelling in the car so if you are active and fun loving this inquisitive girl will make a wonderful companion for those day trips and adventures.
Although Rosie is quite a strong girl she is also very gentle and sweet with the people she loves. She can be frightened and wary of men that she does not know and likes to keep her distance from them till she knows them better. . She isn't destructive at all in the house.
Rosie walks well on the lead although a Halti is very useful, sits on command and will happily return to her bed when asked. However she does have that strong instinct that only allows one thought in her head so will never have great recall. She also unfortunately has a high prey drive so does need secure fencing as she will try to find possums and birds.
Her new family will have secure fencing, be around most of the time, and will be feline free. She would also not be suited on a property with stock as she may be tempted to chase.
She is good with most dogs but will warn off dogs that get in her face with a growl.
Rosie is an amazing girl who will adore her chosen family. Is she the one for you?
