Monty

Monty has been in his new home for approx six weeks now and is an integral part of the family. He loves going for walks with Bobby and the Blind Creek bike track is his favourite. It is generally a half hour walk through bushland with lots of new smells and other dogs.

His social skills are improving daily and his enthusiasm for everything is infectious. We are all very happy to have him as an addition to our family. Just to watch him play with Bobby and chase the cockatoos out of the back yard is so beautiful. He and Bobby do everything together and are inseparable which is terrific, because that is the main reason we adopted him.

Monty's presence has been good for Bobby who has learnt to obey commands by following the lead of the little fella who always does as he is told. Our entire family just love the little man and he has been given the nickname of "Mighty Mouse" for the way he struts around the yard in complete control of his environment.

As you can see from the attached pictures, he and Bobby are great mates and we must thank the VICDRG and in particular yourself for allowing us to adopt such a wonderful pet and give him a new chance in life. We are sure that he is very happy in his new home with his new family.
