No dog will be rehomed by us without being desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

VicDRG is a group run entirely by volunteers. We have no paid employees.

Everyone gives of their time, skills and often money to ensure we can continue to work to save and improve the quality of life of our companion animals.

Your donations go where they are needed - to the animals.

  • We were very grateful to receive donated food from MDBA, we are happy to say that it was collected and delivered same weekend to Rural Pets, Save A Pet and also VICDRG. Thank you very much Julie for arranging this, and Amanda and Simon for holding the food till we could collect. Very happy 4 legged Brenton and Amy from Ruddocks with Margret and Barnaby friends out there... Big thanks to Lesley, Kate S and Sandra in co-ordinating and collecting this wonderful offer of food. And many thanks for Lynda for additional transfer and for (Kate and Brad) Braye Transport for holding and distributing. Terrific job all round.
  • A Big Thank You to Rudducks who donated two crates for Barnaby so he can have an outside and an Brenton and Amy from Ruddocks with Margret and Barnaby inside one. Here is Barnaby sussing out the gift with Brenton and Amy from Rudducks - and Margaret and Barnaby. And Barnaby loved the bag of goodies too! Brenton and Amy made the formal presentation to Barnaby - who loved the wrapping -and then we watched Barnaby posing for the camera and having shots taken by our favourite photographer Manny for the calendar. Thanks to Jodie from Rudducks too for setting this up too.
