Arlo Illingworth was a reluctant surrender to us. Some words from his adopter:
“Arlo has been an absolute delight and a breath of fresh air. He has taken to his new home without any issues whatsoever. He gets along well with Mr Cat (Mr Cat is well versed with dogs and is also happy with company after the loss of our dogs Sable and Cola in January). He is an enthusiastic walker and loves to join me on my run (sometimes I can’t keep up with him!). At home he is cheeky zooming around the house, jumping around the furniture like a little gazelle. Out and about he is still very nervous preferring to hide behind my legs when other dogs cross our path. I took him to dog obedience classes hoping to progress to agility training because he is so agile and energetic. Unfortunately, he was way too nervous to participate properly. I am hoping his nervousness will get better over time. I am so happy I found him and his arrival has gone a long way to healing the loss of my lovely Sable and Cola. As you can see from the photos he loves snuggling up in blankets and cushions and has made my bed his day bed (with the cat). Thank you again VicDRG for doing what you do.”
