Breed: Female Pug x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Weight: 14.8 kgs
In the eyes of Arlie Prattleworth, love is belly rubs, an owner who is around her as much as possible and lots of treats and games.
Arlie is such a sweetie and loves people. She was not house trained but is learning quickly and with the door open at her foster carers there has only been the odd mishap. She loves to be with you, loves to be a café dog, and if you have people over she will want to join in with you. She is quite energetic for her 8 years but isn’t one for long walks, and as a typical pug you will need to watch her on hot days that she doesn’t over exert.
Arlie is after a forever home where she can participate, enjoy and live her best life. She’s a smart girl so games and mental stimulation are a must. Mental stimulation will assist with her barking and giving her the challenges this girl needs. Ball games are great fun but she can become a little boisterous and forget she’s not light as a feather.
Arlie does bark when left alone, and her new family will need to work with her on this. She is not suited to apartment life as she just loves to potter in her garden with you.
Arlie does bark when left alone, so may not be suited to apartment life, and her new family will need to work with her on this.
She has responded well to other dogs but needs to refine her etiquette. She’s shown no signs of aggression but can be a little too enthusiastic. We believe she is best suited to life with another dog to help her hone her life skills and to keep her company. She has a chase instinct so her new home will need secure fencing and no small pets.
Little Arlie deserves a home where she can settle in, spread her enthusiasm for life and receive the unlimited tummy rubs and adoration she deserves.
Everyone falls for this gorgeous little girl. Of course there is a glitch, two actually. Firstly, she does not like to be left alone. We are not sure if this will change as she settles but Arlie barks when you leave her. Arlie is moving to a foster carer with other dogs so we will see if this helps to settle her. A home with another dog is our preference.
And the other, well Arlie does snore.
