Seniors Pixie and Barry Taggerty are not in good health at all. They have come to us from a rural pound. Their teeth are awful, they are not desexed, their arthritis is bad. We will have to investigate Barry's health further and sadly Pixie has massive mammary lumps which we are very concerned about. They are going to need quite a few trips to the vets.

But these two are absolute sweethearts and just wanting to hang around and have some affection.

We need a foster carer for this pair as soon as possible with someone who can drive them to their vet appointments. We haven't yet seen them with other dogs and they may fit with another senior dog but a no dog home is probably easier. Pixie is fine with cats - we are giving Barry a bit more time to decide.

If you think you can help please do complete a foster care form or contact us for more information.

Please note: we do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25.

It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. Please go to your local pound, or contact your local group. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia Pounds in the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.
