Breed: Large Female Great Dane x Mastiff
Weight: 50 kgs
Bella is generally a friendly, submissive and kind girl albeit slightly nervous. Just because of her size she will need an adopter experienced with big dogs and older children. She knows sit and drop and walks relatively well on lead. She will sit by your side while you have a coffee down the street.
She is happy to chill out during the day but does love her walks too. She loves your company most of all.
She is fine with dogs but does not like dogs that get in her face or continually sniff her. Further obedience training and confidence building would benefit her. She's not particularly playful with other dogs, but does not mind them around. She has also settled with the free range family hen after a degree of negotiation.
After an altercation with a kangaroo she definitely does not like them. She shows no sign of being a jumper although when over excited she may try to jump on you. She did have contact with a cat under supervision but would need very careful introduction and would not suit a cat that would run.
She is very welcoming to people that come to the house and likes their attention. Everyone that meets her falls for that face!! Like others of her breed she is placid most of the time but does her twenty minutes zoomies when you may need to get out of the way. Sometimes other dogs of a different breed can be worried by her temporary hyper activity during this time.
Mostly she wants to be with you. Bella Lafferty just wants a family to love.
