Please note: Duffy's new home will be cat free.

Sweet Duffy is reminiscent of a loved old Teddy Bear!

Duffy was found with nowhere to call home and there is no doubt that life hasn’t always been easy for him. He is a mature doggy with quite a few scars and half an ear is missing. But that doesn’t bother Duffy and it won’t take long for you to be taken in by his gentle and loving nature. You can just feel his heart is full of hope for a well earned future that will see him with a family who showers him with love and affection.

Duffy gets along well with other dogs. He loves nothing more than to have a run with his doggy friends and to then come inside and chill out.

Duffy is house trained and can use a doggy door. He sits for food, responds to his name and walks well on the lead. No doubt part of Duffy’s survival has required stealing food to keep his belly full. So if food is on a bench or in a bin he will claim it as his own. Despite the urge to take food when it is in plain sight, Duffy is not food aggressive.

The ideal home for Duffy will provide a relatively calm environment with low noise and hustle and bustle and a very gentle hand. He would do best with adults or a family with older teenagers.

Duffy is a special boy who deserves a wonderful life.
