Please note: Floyd would prefer to live with another dog that is a good playmate for him. But because he is over-excited on meeting other dogs he needs a confident dog that will be fine with this.

Floyd Devereux is a beautiful, happy boy who has an exuberant nature and loves to play. He doesn’t quite know his own size or strength yet, and when he’s excited he can barely contain himself! He can also be enthusiastic upon first meeting but settles down quickly, and loves to gently rest wherever his people are.

Floyd is quite independent and he’s happy to spend time outside, although he is also house trained and knows some basic manners so would dearly love to be treasured as an important part of the family. He has previously lived with both dogs and cats, and gets along well with them once his initial excitement has worn off. Floyd would be best suited for older or calmer children who have experience with bigger dogs and won’t stir him up too much.

Floyd Devereux is a sweet boy who doesn’t ask for much, but he’s very much so looking forward to having a family to call his own.
