Harley Wainwright - available for foster care or adoption
Breed: Medium Male German Shepherd x
Weight: 25 kgs
Say hello to Harley Wainwright – a delightful dog with an unmatched enthusiasm for chasing butterflies, playing and all the fun adventures that the world has to offer. If you need a lesson in living in the moment then Harley is the one for you!
Harley has a vibrant and energetic nature and he is learning how to switch his energy levels off, especially when around something/someone new. His foster family is working with Harley on his training and socialization. He can walk on lead, although pulls at times and does get distracted easily, particularly by other dogs.
Harley’s ideal home will be with an adult family, which could include older teenagers. Harley has a heart of gold but his enthusiasm would be too much for a smaller child as he may accidentally knock them over. His new family will have previous dog training experience and will be committed to providing Harley with consistent, life-long training and stimulation that he requires. He would be happy to share life with another dog, provided their energy levels are matched. Harley would play all day and night and sometimes this can be overwhelming for other dogs.
Harley adores his people. Finding a place where he is an important member of the pack is all that his heart desires.
Harley is not suited to a home with cats or stock as the temptation to chase is too much.
