Maya Kincaid is checking out her new home
Breed: Small Female Jack Russell Terrier x Chihuahua
Weight: 4.1 kgs
Maya is a sweet little girl who just adores her people and loves nothing better than having cuddles. She is quite a curious girl, always interested in keeping up with whatever activity her people are doing, but then she is happy joining her humans for some quiet time, either beside them on the couch or in her bed.
She is such a funny girl that even with the massive hernia she had carried around for years she managed to squeeze under a gate and go exploring. We still don’t know how she did it. Her hernia was operated on the 4th February, a big operation, and she n is recovering very well. Such a happy girl!
Maya loves nothing better than to chatter to you about her day to you when you have been out for a bit. She doesn’t like being on her own all day as she is very much a people dog but Is not destructive when you do go out.
The concept of going for a walk is completely new to Maya, but this doesn't mean she doesn't love going for walks. . She loves exploring and sniffing her way along, and yes, she does get a bit excited when she sees other dogs, but over time we belive the excitement levels will change with more exposure. Maya loves her exercise so much that she will not always wait for you to take her. Therefore she does need very secure fencing. Maya is house trained and uses the doggie door.
We are not certain at the moment if she would be best rehomed with a small male dog or on her own. And when she is sufficiently recovered from her operation, we will be exploring this.
Maya will be a delightful companion and she waits patiently for you to take her home.
