Mustard is a handsome snuggle bug and the most loving companion anyone could ask for. He adores human company and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch with you, but waits until he’s been invited like the polite little gentleman that he is. He simply can’t get enough of being up close to you!
Mustard is a smart boy, and although he doesn’t seem to have been taught many commands in the past, he is picking them up quickly. He is also learning not to pull on his lead, as he is enthusiastic to get out and about and needs to be coaxed back home again.
This cheeky boy has figured out how to ask for pats and belly rubs, and if you stop patting him before he's ready, he will lick and grunt until you give in. Mustard gets along well with cats, playing very nicely with the feline friend in his current foster home, and doesn’t show aggression towards other dogs. He is also good with children and teenagers.
Mustard would love nothing more than to find a forever home where he is allowed indoors and included as a part of the family, with preferably someone at home at least part of the day, or/and the company of another dog, although he also like having you to himself. Having spent his previous life as a backyard dog, Mustard enjoys the simple things in life, like his food, playing chasey around the house, and, most of all, his humans. He does an excited little wiggle dance at meal times to show his excitement, but is always gentle and careful not to snatch.
Mustard is a lovely boy, and whoever welcomes him into their family will be very lucky to have him.
