Nova has had some stress in her life and all she wants now is to unpack her toys for the last time in a loving, warm forever home.

This beautiful girl is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She can be defensive if startled and has shown some resource guarding with her foster sibling, but we are working on this with her. She does love to play with her foster brother though and enjoys a good wrestle or game of chase.

Nova is toilet trained and walks well on the leash. She doesn’t know many other commands beyond ‘sit’ but is a fast learner and will need the mental stimulation of training and games to keep her busy. She’d love a big grassy backyard to stretch her legs in and to chase a ball that her new human will throw for her.

Like so many of our dogs, Nova would love a human who is around her most of the time. She doesn’t like to be left out, and that includes at bedtime. Nova wants to nap beside you, follow you around and take you out for some great walks.

Nova is such a handsome young girl and we know the perfect person is out there for her. Maybe it’s you.

Please note: we do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25.

It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. Please go to your local pound, or contact your local group. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia Pounds in the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.
