Woody can be a little shy initially but this doesn’t last long once he is comfortable. He is an inquisitive boy who follows you everywhere. He is very good in the car and visits the vet with no fuss at all. A gentle, considerate boy who fits into the household well and is a quick learner.

Woody is a beautiful colour and he is so very soft to pat. Like all greyhounds he will take all the affection he can get. He does like to sniff out the kitchen bench and will eat the Parmesan cheese you just grated so keep food out of reach!

Woody gets along well with his foster dog sibling. At the park, he is interested in other dogs, but just has a look and moves on. Woody definitely loves the company of other dogs especially he would like one to live with him.

He absolutely loves going to the park and sniffing all the wonderful smells that delight his senses. He had a recent visit to a farm and had the time of his life. He was very good around the horses, at one stage there were four dogs and a puppy and he fitted in well with the pack. At home Woody is also happy to relax on the dog beds inside. He sleeps very well all through the night and in the morning you are met with a very excited friend, tail wagging ready to face the day with his adored person.

The ideal home for Woody? Other dogs to play and chill with. The more the merrier according to Woody - one can never have too many friends. Open space or a good sized yard will be ideal so he can stretch his legs. Due to his size, small children aren't an option as he may accidentally knock them over, even just by moving past them.

Woody will need some help with his training, but he is very smart and responding well to his foster carer. His new home will have secure fencing; he doesn’t jump fences but will follow a doggy friend or car down the road. Woody's home will be cat free.

Woody will be the most wonderful companion! This fantastic pooch can't wait to find his forever family and home.
