Weary (formerly Theo)

Weary has adapted so well to life with us. He LOVES his walks on the beach: the first morning, he met over a dozen dogs! He has a few regulars that he meets most mornings, including a playful retriever and a rambunctious little hound mix. Even though he loves his walks, when he gets to the house (his house!), he sprints inside and runs around the house, jumping on everything.

We have introduced him to marrow bones, peanut butter, and even went out for ice cream (just a taste, but still!). We took him to the Albert Park Gasworks Farmers Market last Saturday, and he had heaps of fun meeting the other dogs and tasting homemade dog treats and carrots from the stalls. His appetite is as big as ever, and he seems to enjoy all his treats and dinners. When he is not outside meeting and greeting with the local dogs or running at breakneck speed down the beach, he is lying in between us as we wind down for the night. He loves his cuddles on the couch and just flops on top of us when he is tired.

He is truly the best addition to our family...better than we could have ever imagined. In mid-March, we are going to start up obedience training with a local group, and then we will go from there for other activities. We both love waking up to his kisses and going out and about with him.
