Jerry is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic boy.

Jerry is full of life and still carries that playful, “puppy” energy. Whilst he enjoys the company of other fur friends whilst out and about, and has been great at doggy day care, he will need support in sharing a home with another dog as he is very protective of anything he perceives as his.

Jerry’s Quirks & Needs:
• Dog-friendly: Loves other dogs, especially poodles/oodles, young dogs, or those who match his energy.
• Playful but excitable: He sometimes gets too excited when he sees dogs on walks and may rush or bark to initiate play, which can be a bit overwhelming for timid pups.
• TV Barking: Yep—Jerry is the kind of dog who will “talk” to animals on TV!
• Food Guarding: Can show some resource guarding with food or treats, so ongoing management and training will help here.
• Separation Anxiety: Jerry loves companionship—he feels safest when around people or other dogs and may get anxious when left alone. A stable routine and interactive play help ease his worry.
• Leash Skills: Walks well with a loose lead once he’s settled, but may pull at the start or when he sees other dogs.
