Our little flower, Aster Uffelman, may have taken a short while to settle into her foster home and she may take a while to interact with strangers, but once settled:

• She purrs like a tractor
• She adores chin, neck and chest scratches
• She loves being petted
• She loves snuggling with other cats

Aster is a low maintenance cat who will wander off and do her own thing during the day, typically snoozing in the cat tree.  She likes to have some playtime during the evening and then likes to spend the night curled up with the resident cat.  Unfortunately, the resident cat is not a fan, and poor little Aster keeps trying.  She is very tolerant and patient as she tries to play, to chase, to snuggle, no matter how many times he rejects her.

Aster has a cute habit of smacking her lips and tongue together, not just during mealtimes or when anticipating her dinner.

In the words of her foster carer – Aster is a quiet, cautious, reserved, smart, witty, tolerant and surprisingly affectionate cat.

We feel Aster will do best in an adult home or with older teenagers, where there will be at least one other cat who is affectionate and would like snuggling and sleeping with her.
