Meet Bee O’Cleary – A Sweet, Affectionate Companion – A Bulldog/French cross with lots to give!
Bee O’Cleary is a calm, four year old, loving little dog with a big heart. He adores human company, happily following his people around, but he’s also independent enough to be left alone for a few hours without distress. A true cuddlebug, Bee thrives on affection and enjoys being part of the action—but at his own pace.
Bee is friendly with other dogs, though his enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of him, leading to a bit of overexcitement (and some impolite sniffing!). With time and desexing, this should settle. He’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house manners—he walks beautifully on a lead but does have a tendency to mark indoors, so continued training will be important.
Bee is currently working on his relationship with cats. At first, he showed little interest, but as his confidence has grown, so has his curiosity—sometimes leading to chasing and barking. For this reason, a cat-free home may be best, or a patient and experienced owner willing to manage introductions carefully.
While he’s generally well-behaved and eager to please, Bee prefers to keep all four paws on the ground—being picked up is not his thing! He will, however, hop into the car on his own and travels beautifully.
Bee would do well in a home where he’s the center of attention or with a calm, respectful canine companion. He enjoys his two short walks a day, stopping to greet every person he passes & expecting everyone to be just as enthusiastic about him! He is otherwise content relaxing indoors. With a little guidance and continued love, Bee will make a devoted and affectionate companion.
Could you be the perfect match for this gentle little guy?
Microchip Number: 956000013272765
Source Number: RE120211
Health: Bee has a number of issues. Once his skin has cleared up he will be vaccinated. He will then have BOAS surgery and be desexed.
We will then also x-ray his legs and hips.
All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
