NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

🐾 Bess & Lulu – Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home

Bess and Lulu are an adorable duo. They have grown up together and would love nothing more than to find a forever family and home to share.

🐶 Bess

Bess is an energetic, intelligent dog with a big love for life. She enjoys outdoor adventures, ball games, and exploring her surroundings. She is confident off-lead with excellent recall and loves active play, especially chasing a tennis ball.

She is generally calm around other dogs and often shows little interest, preferring to focus on her activity or people. Bess is affectionate and enjoys human company, though she can be sensitive with grooming and needs a gentle, patient approach.

🐶 Lulu

Lulu is a smaller, more easy-going companion who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle balanced with regular walks and activity. She is friendly and generally calm around other dogs, though she prefers space from overly boisterous play.

Lulu is comfortable on lead, travels well, and settles nicely at home. She can be vocal when excited, particularly around walk time, but is otherwise a steady and affectionate little dog who enjoys being close to her people.

🐕 Together

Bess and Lulu have grown up together and share a strong, familiar bond. They are used to spending time together both indoors and outdoors and are very comfortable in each other’s company. They are currently happiest as a pair, especially during longer walks( Lulu walks faster to keep up) and downtime at home.

🐾 Other Dogs

Both dogs are generally good with other dogs and have been walked regularly on the beach for years.

1. Bess is mostly disinterested and relaxed
2. Lulu is friendly but prefers calm, respectful interactions

They enjoy social walking spaces. However, they rely on their person to protect them from pushy dogs in their face..

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
