NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Billie is a gorgeous young lady who loves attention, pets and cuddles. She is laid back with a reserved temperament. Billie is a shy dog who has had limited life experiences and as a result will take time to learn how to respond calmly to sudden noises or movements. She deserves the love and support of a loving family to help her gain confidence and be loved.
Billie will bark if left alone outside for more than an hour, obviously missing the company of her family members. She has recently been introduced to a family friend’s dog and after some initial nervousness was able to interact well. She may be suitable to live with a calm dog. Billie’s interaction with cats is yet unknown as she has had no exposure. Billie lacks confidence on a lead, so she will need time and patience to feel comfortable and to help with positive dog interactions.
Billie is a wonderful girl and a reluctant surrender. She is looking forward to the next chapter of her journey with you!
All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
