Sweet staffy senior

Beautiful Blaze has just joined us and is already showing her kind and gentle nature. She has met family members of her carer, both large and small, and has welcomed pats from all calmly. Showing the colours of her breed, Blaze likes sticking close to her person and needs an occasional gentle reminder to keep all foot paws on the ground. Blaze travels happily in the car and sleeps well through the night in the living room. In care, she has been reliable about toileting outside with regular opportunities to go.

Blaze is sporting a few lumps and bumps of her age, which are being checked by our vets, but she seems happy and alert. She comes when called around the house and is quickly picking up some new commands. We have not yet tested Blaze with other animals or observed her lead skills in the big wide world. This sweet senior will do well in calm home where she has plenty of human company. We will update Blaze’s profile as we get to know her better. In the meantime, if you are captured by her Staffy smile, Blaze would love to hear from you.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
