NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Perky and quirky, these two little cuddle bugs are simply delightful.
They are thriving in foster care – they were cautious when they arrived, but are now a part of the family in every way. They love their doggie foster sisters, LOVE their foster humans, and even have their moments with the family cats. Dixie and Peppa are mother and daughter and were used for breeding in the past. They are just discovering how wonderful life can really be.
While cuddles are their number one thing, they have oodles of personality and regularly delight their audience with upside down swimming, doing a cat impression, and as for meal time, their people never get sick of watching them eat dog food as if it were caviar.
They are very low maintenance dogs and will happily spend all day sleeping together, going outside to the toilet when need be. One small walk a week would probably be enough for them. Cuddles on the other hand… all day, every day if you like.
Their ideal forever family would be a loving one where the people love lap time as much as they do. Other dogs or dog-savvy cats will be ok, as long as they get the love and attention that they deserve.
What do you think? Ready for a cuddle extravaganza?
Thank you to Manuela Cifra for the fantastic photos of Peppa and Dixie.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
