NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

UPDATE. Sadly little Ernie’s heart murmur has worsened and he is now on furosemide. He has now joined our palliative care program. He will be safe and loved with his foster carer.
They don’t come much cuter than little Ernie. Really, just look at that adorable face. Ernie has just come into our care, but so far he has been an absolute pleasure, friendly with his foster dog siblings and everyone he has met.
Ernie enjoys his walks, preferring to go at his own pace whether that is pulling a little to check things out or stopping to smell the roses. He does travel well in the car, though he does get a little anxious.
We are just getting to know this lovely boy. What we know so far is he is well-behaved, affectionate, happy to be picked up and enjoys life with his humans and doggy friends.
Is your life missing a little Ernie? What are you waiting for? Ernie can’t wait to spend his precious days with you!

Medical Notes:
UPDATE. Sadly little Ernie’s heart murmur has worsened and he is now on furosemide.
Once he settles we will desex and do his dental. Then he will be ready to enjoy the rest of his life on medication.
All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
