NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Meet Jack Uffelman!

Jack is a gentle, people-loving boy who is blossoming more and more each day in foster care. He’s sweet, affectionate, and has quickly discovered that tummy rubs are one of life’s greatest joys. With his easygoing nature and curious streak, Jack is already showing how adaptable and resilient he is.

Personality & Training
Jack is a friendly companion who enjoys being with people and will happily keep you company at home or out and about. He travels well in the car (and gets excited for the adventure ahead!), is house-trained, and mastered the doggie door in no time. While he doesn’t chew household items, he has an amusing habit of burying his toys in the yard for safekeeping.

He’s still learning his basic commands but has already nailed “sit,” responds to “no,” and is picking up cues like “back” and “down.” With consistency and patience, Jack will continue to grow in confidence and training.

On Walks & With Other Dogs
Walks are a highlight of Jack’s day. He needs a good daily stroll, though he can get a bit enthusiastic on the lead, zig-zagging and sniffing everything along the way. He’s curious and friendly when meeting other dogs and people, showing great social potential as he continues to settle in.

The Perfect Home

Jack would suit a family, couple, or single person, and while he loves company, he’s proving himself adaptable to different lifestyles. What matters most is that he has people who will include him in daily life, give him plenty of love, and continue his training and care.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
