NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Jessie Jagger is gentle and so very sweet. He loves his sleep, resting in the sunshine, pats and sitting next to you on the couch in the evening. Jessie can be a little shy. He wags his tail to greet people but can be hesitant when you reach out to pat him.

We don’t think Jessie has walked much on lead prior to coming into our care, but he is adapting well and starting to really enjoy his walks. When meeting other dogs he gives them a curious sniff and is happy to continue walking. Jessie isn’t comfortable with dogs that are too excitable and don’t respect his space. We are working on Jessie’s house training and basic commands and we know this smart boy will respond well to any loving guidance provided.

Jessie is such a lovable boy. He adores his people and is happiest in your company following you around, so if you are home most of the time that would be ideal. Jessie would also enjoy the company of another little doggy friend to share his every day with.

Jessie is a dream dog. Whoever welcomes this boy into their hearts and home will be so lucky!

Jessie is untested with cats.

Thank you to Hamish of Appleby Photography for the fantastic photos of Jessie.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
