NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Mack Jablonski is a little muppet with a sweet and charming personality, looking for his forever home. He gets along great with his fur siblings and loves to sleep peacefully at his owner’s feet. Currently living with his foster sister, Mack would thrive in a home with another dog companion to share his adventures.  However he would prefer the company and to coexist rather than a playful dog as he is not keen on ‘in your face’ dogs, especially those he does not know..

Mack is well-behaved and easy to live with. He walks nicely on a lead (although he can be a little defensive sometimes), is crate trained, and fully toilet trained. He even knows how to use the doggy door! Mack enjoys an indoor-outdoor lifestyle and spends most of his daytime indoors. He sleeps comfortably in a crate with the door closed next to his fur sister through the night. He’s also great at the groomer, travels well in the car when needed, and is always eager to learn, especially when food rewards are involved.

Mack enjoys nothing more than a good belly rub. He also loves solving puzzles, playing with his Kong, and going on sniffaris. His daily walks are about 30 minutes long, with an extra 15 minutes of sniffing fun. He’s a big fan of playing with toys—tugging, wrestling, and even learning to fetch his stuffed toys, which is so much fun when he sees the smile on his carer’s face!

His foster parents have done a lot of work with Mack to help him relax, especially when they leave for short periods. Mack is much more comfortable and calmer now when his carers go out, and if he worries, his foster sister is always there to guide him. Having a dog companion is a must for Mack in his forever home.

We’re still working on his excitement around walks, his harness, and leaving the house, but we’ve been making great progress while he’s in care. Mack loves making new friends and enjoys a good sniff, though he might give the odd dog a little WOOF. Once he gets a good sniff in, he’s a pretty good guy.
