NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Meg is a love bug – sweet natured and full of happiness and affection. This sweetheart has settled beautifully into our care. She is sharing her foster family with a big mastiff cross and they became best friends instantly. Meg also gets on well with any dogs met on walks and reads their energy well, respecting their boundaries. She does enjoy the odd shoe, but she just seems to like to carry them places and leave them there. She loves a good run around the garden with her toys.

Meg definitely has energy, but two good 30 minute walks a day and a bit of playing and she sleeps the rest of the day away. She pulls a little on leash but that is also improving. If Meg is nervous of anything on her walk she will come back closer to you to check in. Meg has displayed a little separation anxiety, but the longer she is with her foster family the better that seems to be. She is more nervous around men when she first meets them but warms up very quickly once she feels safe. This clever girl is a quick learner, house trained and will sit when asked.

At this stage we believe Meg will do well in any home, but would prefer sharing her family with another doggy companion. When Meg looks up at you it’s like she’s sending you all the love in the world. Will Meg get to share all her cuddles with you?

Meg is untested with cats.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
