NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Milo is a happy and affectionate guy, who is being surrendered through no fault of his own. His owner has had a change of life circumstances and cannot give him the love and attention that he so deserves.

Milo loves cuddles and people and is super smart. He knows lots of commands and tricks, has great recall, walks well on a lead, and is used to being off lead in dog parks.

He is toilet trained, sleeps through the night, is good with kids and other dogs in general, although he occasionally barks at another dog if he isn’t too sure of them.

Milo has stayed at other people’s houses with other dogs and had no issues, so should potentially do well with another doggy house mate.  Feeding times would need to be supervised though, as Milo eats quickly and then looks for more!  He is very food motivated (but does not resource guard), which meant he was easy to train, and his owner has put a lot of effort into this.

He isn’t great in the car, but his owner is working on that.

He is fine being home alone during a working day but would love some attention when his person/people come home.

Milo is a great dog and would thrive in a variety of homes, where his people have time for him, show him love and attention and include him in their world. He is used to two walks a day and would benefit from continuing a similar level of physical activity and will need some mental stimulation as he is very intelligent.

In summary, we think Milo is fantastic and will adapt to a new home well.

Microchip Number: 900079000164174
Source Number: RE120211
Medical Notes: Milo does have skin/ear issues like so many oodles. Has been on cytopoint.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
