NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Nellie is a gorgeous girl with so much love and life to give.

Walks with Nellie should be a social event. Say hi to this person, say hello to that person, even say hi to a dog or two. While she loves her walks, she’s extremely content to just be carried. She’ll bury her head in under your chin, and just enjoy her time with you.

She does have preference to smaller dogs, but also doesn’t mind larger as long as they are calm. Cats are no issue either, she shows no interest. She enjoys her food, and has no problem sharing. She also doesn’t bark.

Nellie just wants a couch to lay on that’s next to you, with a hand that can give her a few scritchy scratches on her noggin. She will nudge your hand if you dare to stop, so just be prepared to not stop.

She’s a very loving and sociable girl, who just wants to spend time with you. She’s a sweetheart.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
