NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Nyx is the sweetest, most loving, playful and loyal dog. She sleeps most of the day and wiggles her whole body and trots around in a circle when she’s excited to see you. She is a quiet dog who is very in tune with your emotions and picks up on your mood and how you are feeling. She loves belly rubs, butt scratches, chilling on the couch and sunshine. She will follow the sun wherever it shines through the window in the house.

Nyx is a smart cookie who learns incredibly quickly. She is house trained and uses the doggy door. Nyx understands the commands to sit, drop, stay, on your mat and she will shake your hand. Nyx does need extra training when walking on lead. She loves being out and about and gets excited when there are any distractions – dogs, birds, cats or people and will pull hard on the leash. If you are walking in a quiet area though, she is a delight to walk. Nyx also loves the taste of shoes so you will need to keep them out of her reach.

Nyx’s home will be cat free as she is too tempted to chase them. A good sized backyard is ideal as well as fence she can’t dig under. Nyx will want a home where she can spend most of the time in the company of her person/people as she does experience some separation anxiety.

Nyx is the most loving soul. All she wants is to share her world with you!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out.
