Oscar and Tilly are bonded friends looking for a family and home to share.

Meet Oscar

Oscar is a sweet boy looking for his forever home where he can enjoy love, companionship, and the exercise he deserves.

Oscar currently lives happily with another dog (a miniature poodle named Tilly) and has also had regular visits from a chihuahua friend, even for a few days at a time. He generally gets along well with other dogs—although when meeting new ones on walks, he can be a little vocal and will bark until he’s had a proper sniff and gets comfortable. With familiar dogs, he’s relaxed and content.

Cats are still an unknown for Oscar, so a careful introduction and supervision would be needed if there are cats in his new home.

This boy enjoys his walks and would benefit from more regular exercise than he’s been getting. He’s used to walking on-lead, though he does get excited when spotting other dogs and may pull towards them for a sniff. He hasn’t been given the chance to explore life off-leash, so his recall will need some work in a safe environment.

Oscar hasn’t had formal obedience training, but he’s eager for attention and would thrive with some gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. He’s comfortable being left home alone for periods and travels well in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures.

At home, Oscar has enjoyed free access indoors and loves being close to his people. He’s not overly fond of being brushed or groomed, so his new family will need to help him build confidence with that over time.

Oscar is a loyal and loving boy with lots of potential. With the right family to give him structure, companionship, and exercise, he’ll make a wonderful best friend.

Meet Tilly

Tilly is a gentle, easygoing girl who loves both her walks and her couch time. She’s equally happy joining you on an outing or curling up at home for a nap.

Tilly is very dog-friendly. She has lived with Oscar (a terrier) for years and has also shared her home with a regular visiting chihuahua, so she’s used to having canine company around. On walks, she usually greets new dogs with a friendly sniff and is quick to make friends—though she might give a little bark to back up Oscar if he kicks things off first!

She hasn’t been tested with cats, but her calm nature suggests she’d approach new situations thoughtfully.

On lead, Tilly is steady and well-mannered, making walks enjoyable. She hasn’t had the chance to explore life off-leash, so recall training will be something for her new family to work on in safe spaces. She hasn’t done formal obedience training, but she’s a willing companion who just wants to be close to her people.

Tilly travels well in the car—making her a great match for families who like to take their dog along on adventures.

At home, she’s used to being inside with her family and having the option of popping out to the yard when needed. Most of all, she enjoys being part of the household and close to her humans.

Tilly is a sweet, adaptable girl who will fit beautifully into a loving family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s just as happy strolling beside you as she is snoozing on the sofa, Tilly might be your perfect match.
