NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Patches is a sweet, lovable boy who is new into our care, and we’re still getting to know all the wonderful things that make him special. What we do know already is that he is full of life, love, and personality.
This adorable little dog has plenty of energy and enjoys nothing more than a good play session or a walk to explore the world. After he’s had his fun, Patches is more than happy to settle in for cuddles—he absolutely thrives on human attention and loves being close to his people, often following along just to be part of whatever you’re doing.
Patches is showing himself to be a clever boy who is responding really well to training, especially when treats are involved! His foster family describes him as fun, smart, and an all-round joy to have in the home.
He seems to get along well with other dogs, though he hasn’t yet been tested with cats or other animals.
Patches’ ideal home would be an active one where he’s not left alone too often. He would likely do best in a home with another dog for companionship and with a family who will include him in daily life, giving him the attention, activity, and love he craves.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
