NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

We are still getting to know Rex but he is already showing us what a beautiful gentle quiet boy he is. He is looking for a quiet kind retirement home with his person/people around a fair amount of the time.

Rex was very scared and timid when he first arrived from the Pound but with a little space he was within 24 hours wanting to be close and bonding with his foster carer. He is becoming more comfortable and confident each day and his cheeky personality is starting to come out. He can be nervous with visitors he doesn’t know and retreats to a safe space to watch and listen from afar. He does need a quiet relaxed home.

He is very well behaved, toilet trained, rarely barks and sleeps well through the night in his bed in the bedroom. He has shown some keenness to sleep on his persons bed or watch tv with you on the couch however is also happy to be close by his person on the floor in his bed.

He enjoys his walks and is so well behaved with other people and dogs when out on them. He doesn’t need a long walk but would like a daily walk with plenty of time to sniff all the doggy smells. He also travels well in the car and is a clever boy who is learning to sit for his food and treats.

Rex is a gem of a boy who will make his person/persons a wonderful loving and very loyal companion. Can you help find the beautiful Rex his perfect forever home?
