NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Rocky is a reluctant surrender new into our care. A young pup with all the markings of a great dog, but just needing a family who are willing to give him the time and training he deserves.

Rocky is a friendly boy and loves his humans. He loves pats and any form of affection, but is not needy. He is an intelligent boy and would love a home where he can exercise his brain through training and stimulating activities to keep him out of mischief. He currently lives with two cats and another dog friend and gets on well with all of them. When out on his walks he greets other dogs with a sniff and invites them to play. For all his puppy energy, he is a polite dog and comes to his name and shares with his fur friends at home. He is house trained.

Rocky’s ideal forever home would be one where his humans have the time to train him and provide him with the stimulation to keep this intelligent boy from finding his own forms of entertainment. He would love a fur friend to expend his energy with. If you’re the right family for Rocky, he won’t disappoint and would love to hear from you – please fill in the application form.

Thank you to Liv Morison of Liv Morison photography for the fantastic photos of Rocky.

Medical Notes:

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
