Sam had been in the wars prior to joining VicDRG.  Firstly, Sam sustained a long laceration under his front left-hand leg. Then his elderly person took a fall and was hospitalized for an extended period, with kind neighbours looking after Sam. Finally, and devastatingly, Sam’s person surrendered him, as they needed to go into permanent care.

Sam is 2 YO old and his injury is well healed now.  He is showing a sweet side and is appreciative of human kindness and incredibly happy for a smooch, although he is shy of strangers and does not particularly like loud noises.

Sam will be most suited to a quiet home, without young children, as unexpected noises scare him.  Sam is litter trained.
