NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Gorgeous Stormy is looking for a new family as his current humans don’t have enough time for him. This lovely lad is friendly with people and dogs alike. He has had some training and knows how to sit, drop, stay and ‘play dead’. Stormy is an indoor/outdoor dog. He is currently spending quite a lot of time alone outside, sleeping indoors at night, but would no doubt welcome more time inside with his people. Inside the home, Stormy understands where he is and isn’t allowed and, apart from an occasional enthusiastic dissection of one of his toys, has shown himself to be a well-behaved indoor family member.

Stormy enjoys his social time with other dogs and a chance to regularly stretch his legs. While enthusiastic and ready to play, Stormy knows how to manage his excitement and adjust his behaviour around other dogs and people. He can be rather strong on lead, but with the right harness and some further rewards-based training, he has the makings of a good loose-lead walker.

Stormy would do well at home with or without another friendly dog, with people of all ages who have time and love to share with him, and can provide him with daily exercise and mental stimulation. Are you looking for a Stormy ray of sunshine?

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
