NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Toby is the biggest snuggle bum in history. He likes nothing more than to curl up on your lap, at your feet, or on another dog. He does nothing by half,  so when playing it’s at a million miles an hour, and when its napping, his little tongue pokes out and there’s no disturbing him. He’s mastered sit, shake and stay really quickly and is very food motivated.

Toby is a bit more nervous than his sister Star and has taken a while to get used to the louder barking of my big dog. He lets you know that he’s a bit unsure by making a beeline to you and getting as close as possible. He’s got very little idea about what this whole weeing and pooing outside thing is about  (only been in care a week)  but given the speed he’s learnt other things I don’t think it will take him long re toilet training. He and Star spend 90% of their time with each other so while it would be lovely if they could go together I think he’d be fine with another playful (tolerant) puppy friend. He’s very interested in the cats but won’t go near them unless he’s got a mate for back up, then bolts if the cat moves.

Does bark a bit at other dogs but only playfully.

While you’re here – be sure to check out Toby’s sibling Star.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
