NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

This is Tony Padovano He looks a happy friendly boy. Right. But he is not. Tony hasn’t been handled well when he was young and this has led to touch sensitivity and over excitability that has led to aggression if people do not listen and persist in inappropriate behaviours.

Tony is only two years old and needs your – and our – help. He is only available at present to foster or preferably foster with a person who will work with us to improve Tony’s behavior and make him a happy boy. Although Tony currently lives with a child he will not be placed with any but an adult family.

Tony has been bullied by dogs in the past but may be okay with a small placid dog who is not interested in a playmate but happy to have a companion.

Tony will be a very rewarding dog for that special person willing to put the time in.
