NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Breed: Male German Shorthaired Pointer
DOB: 18/10/2020
Weight: 35kg
Location: Lynbrook

Trigger Haliwell is a striking male German Shorthaired Pointer weighing 35 kg. This energetic and playful dog is a joy to be around and is looking for a loving home where he can thrive.

Trigger is well-socialized and gets along well with other dogs. He enjoys their company and is always ready for a play session when he meets new canine friends on his walks. However, Trigger has not been exposed to cats, so it’s best to introduce him to feline companions cautiously and under supervision.

Despite his high energy level, Trigger is well-behaved on a leash and has been trained to walk nicely without pulling. He enjoys his walks and outdoor adventures but has not had much experience off-leash. With consistent training, he has the potential to enjoy off-leash activities safely.

Trigger has not undergone formal obedience training, but he is a quick learner and will benefit from basic training to enhance his manners and commands. He is used to being left home alone and handles it well, making him a suitable companion for those who work during the day.

Car rides are no problem for Trigger, as he travels well in his dog cage without any signs of anxiety or motion sickness. When it comes to grooming, Trigger loves being brushed and is cooperative during the process. However, he is not a fan of baths and may cry a bit, but with gentle handling, he can get through it.

Trigger does not have any issues with barking or chewing and is not a resource guarder with food or bones. He is a well-rounded dog who enjoys being part of the family and is ready to bring joy and companionship to his new home. If you’re looking for an active and friendly dog to join your family, Trigger Haliwell might be the perfect match.
