NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Yoko’s greatest joy in life is being with her humans. She’s fun, playful, and full of character, with a real talent for making you laugh. Her signature move? Flopping belly-up in the sun, soaking in the warmth and waiting for admiration (and belly rubs, of course).
When she’s not sunbaking, she’s all about being comfy and cosy — Yoko adores her blanket and loves being tucked up right next to you.Yoko is affectionate and loyal and will attempt to climb into your lap.

Training & Progress
Yoko is still learning and is currently working with a professional trainer to help with her dog reactivity. With consistent training and support, she is making great improvements. Her good nature makes her highly motivated and engaged during training sessions.

Yoko would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be an only dog and soak up all the attention. She makes a great companion, whether it is sleeping by your feet while you work, or playing tug-a-war for hours. She’s looking for people who will enjoy her goofy nature, and continue her training with patience and kindness.

Health: Sensitive skin and some gut allergies that are easily managed
All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
