Roy Valenti was adopted by his family in the knowledge that he had cancer and would have a short life. Unfortunately by the time we had him in our care to organise the removal of the anal tumour it had already metastasised. We are very grateful for the adopters like this who are now giving Roy the home he should always have had.
“We applied for Roy through Vic Dog Rescue and were so fortunate to be chosen to bring him into our family in January. He is the sweetest little boy. Roy initially had issues walking and particularly found it difficult on concrete, but through regular short outings, his conditioning has improved and he is loving heading out with us. He loves it so much that he carries his lead to the front door. We already have a cavoodle, Coco, and together they are the most beautiful brother and sister. They both sleep on their beds near each other and she has taken him in with such affection, that it is as though Roy has been with us forever. Roy loves being groomed, loves going for coffees, loves walks and car rides and he particularly loves healthy treats – he has brilliant eye mouth coordination! We are so lucky that Roy chose us and we are so happy that we can shower him with love, walks and lots of cuddles. Thank you”
