Surrender

If you need to surrender a pet, please complete the relevant form below. Please read the information in the form thoroughly. We may request a surrender fee from you, depending on the circumstances of surrender. Please include at least one good photo of your pet for us, as it helps us in placing them.

Please note, we are a small group of volunteers and will try to help where we can, but we have a limited number of foster carers. All of our pets are placed in the private homes of our foster carers, or if we do not have a carer available, in rare circumstances we may use private boarding kennels. This is on a case by case basis.

Please note: Due to the extraordinary demand on our services we can usually only accept larger dogs if you can hold them. We cannot take on dogs with aggression issues, especially medium to large breeds.

Note in some cases we may be able to assist your dog if you are able to hold them for some time, as we are struggling to find suitable foster carers.

Pets in Crisis Program

We run a Pets in Crisis program to assist people at risk of losing their pets. This may be because of homelessness, domestic violence, mental health issues or emergency hospital treatment. We need a referral from a professional such as a social worker, doctor or similar in order for us to help. There is a general fee of $10 a day. But this may be waived in cases of financial hardship.

We can only assist where we have foster carers available, as we look after these pets in a foster carer’s home and also pay for any necessary vetwork. Occasionally we may kennel a dog or cat. If you need assistance, please complete the form below and we will be in touch as soon as we can.
