Juliet’s adopter titled her email to us ‘Assistance cat’. We smiled and thought, more like a ‘Hindrance cat’! Doesn’t matter which, everyone seems very happy with the arrangement. Some words from Juliet’s adopter:
“I can’t begin to comprehend how difficult things are in animal rescue just now. VicDRG does so much with so little and that even you have been pushed to breaking is devastating for us all.
I hope another success story might provide some small salve. This cheeky little monkey is my beautiful girl Juliet (formerly, Tygresse Babbington). She and Viola (formerly, Pantha Babbington) have been creating chaos for six months now and I’d be lost without them. They are yet to lose their love of kittenish hi-jinks, and Juliet is especially fond of climbing the curtains at speed. High speed! Viola is affection itself – always smoochy, regularly fighting for prime position on my lap, she is an absolute sweetheart. Everyone wants to steal her for themselves. The rest of the mob has embraced them, although Clementine was initially a little hesitant to accept the furry upstarts. They are adored, and it will always be thus.
Please remember how important you have been – and will continue to be – for so many innocent creatures that were otherwise defenseless in an increasingly difficult world. My own life is appreciably better due to you. Thank you.”
