NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Scooby is an adorable boy who had a rough start to life. Once you’ve gained Scooby’s affection, he loves to get all of yours in return. Scooby gets along fine with his foster cat siblings, and is also good with the other small dogs he is currently sharing his home with. Scooby is friendly with most dogs he meets on his walks, as long as he is introduced slowly. He walks well on lead and understands the command to stay. Scooby is working on learning new commands with his foster family.

Scooby’s new owners will be patient and prepared to put time into positive training to help Scooby deal with some behavioral issues. He is unsure of strangers and may become defensive and has shown some signs of resource guarding.

Scooby will be suited to an adult only home, potentially with a small female companion dog who is active and loves playing.

Scooby is an endearing little friend who will thrive with loving guidance. He can’t wait to start the next chapter of his life – will that be with you?

Thank you to Lyndsay of Paw Focus Photography for the fantastic photos of Scooby.

Adults/Teenage home only.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
