Buster Dunwoodie came to us more than two years ago. He had had a few short rehomings from a pound situation but he just needed the right home.

“And now called Rocco…

… he is perfect, and very loved, and I can’t imagine life without him!

As time went on we really got to know him better, and some of his quirks when we first adopted him are long gone, replaced by a confident, less anxious and very snuggly dog. Rocco is very playful – he and our other dog Scully run around the house and garden together with toys, wrestle all over the couches and race each other for the thrown ball when we go to the park.

Rocco loves that I work from home full time, and when I don’t have the fire on for him to lie in front of and worship, his bed is near my desk and he and Scully snooze happily. They get two walks a day and when the weather is good they can run around off lead at the park and chase the ball/each other/other dogs. He loves the car and going to visit family, and is comfortable staying with my mum when we go away. He’s a good cafe dog and very food motivated, so we can generally keep his attention pretty easily. His favourite thing at the end of the day is just to jump on the couch, on my lap AND under a blanket – he loves to be warm.”
