Little Gaston (we called him Edwin in our Drought Dogs Program) is still going strong. Adopted in 2009 he’s had a great life. Only last year he had a growth removed from his leg and his quality of life improved.

“He must be 17 year old by now and he loves a walk or two each day, sleeping close to us (he’s deaf), his food and chewing on a meaty bone. His fur is thinning but a jumper keeps him warm.

Gaston shares us with Amber who was rehomed to us (we’re her 3rd family) around 3 years ago.”
