NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Breed: Male Maltese/cross
DOB: 08/06/2007
Weight: 3.7kgs
Location: Emerald

His name is Bianco, but most people just call him Bug. This sweet hearted dog has surprisingly more energy than you think. One or two small walks around the block will keep him happy and a few scratches on the head is all that is needed to make his day. Bug is quiet and content with not much going on around him, he’s perfectly fine sleeping all day as long as its close by your side. Bug does not like being left alone by himself at home, but if he has a furry friend to keep him company he is okay.

He tends to be hard of hearing and has trouble seeing at times, but that just means he’s putting more energy into loving and affection to make up for it.
Bug would really benefit being able to join a home with people who are as wise and patient as him, being able to spend time together is all he wants, and in return he will be by your side. If you’re looking to spend time and care for a sweet little gentleman like Bug, please fill out the application today.

PS don’t let Bug not being housetrained stop you. A belly band would be fine by him. Currently he is in an apartment and it does make it harder for him to learn housetraining.

Health: Bug is very good for a 17 year old.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
