NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Charming Chester is looking for a new family. He is a friendly fellow who enjoys people and gets along well with other resident dogs. Tiny Chester is a classic lap dog, enjoying love and snuggles with his people. He also enjoys getting outside for a sniff and a frolic.

While he gets on with all, Chester is a little apprehensive when there is a lot of human action happening, so would probably enjoy a calmer household. Having lived all his life on acreage, Chester is not used to being on lead or out in the big wide world, so his new people will need to help him adjust to new expectations and life experiences. He also tends to get a little vocal when left alone and upon return of his favourite carers, so will probably do better in the suburbs and beyond, and may need some desensitisation training in his new home. Chester also needs some dental work, which we are currently assessing.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
